Ber­lin, 26 Octo­ber 2017. On 24 Sep­tem­ber 2017, Retresco’s rtr tex­ten­gi­ne and con­tent cura­ti­on sys­tem (TMS) was short­listed at the World Sum­mit Awards as best digi­tal solu­ti­ons for Ger­ma­ny in the Busi­ness & Com­mer­ce cate­go­ry. 


Over 400 com­pa­nies were nomi­na­ted for this years´ World Sum­mit Awards (WSA). Among all ent­ries, Ret­res­co has been short­listed in the Busi­ness & Com­mer­ce cate­go­ry. Each inter­na­tio­nal pro­duct was care­ful­ly eva­lua­ted by an Online Jury accord­ing to seven cri­te­ria: con­tent, func­tio­na­li­ty, design, tech­no­lo­gy, inno­va­ti­on, impact and Global/UN value.

WSA Grand Jury

The WSA Grand Jury meets in Ber­lin from 25–28 Octo­ber to eva­lua­te the short­list and select 40 final win­ners. The­se will be announ­ced in the first week of Novem­ber and offi­ci­al­ly awar­ded in March 2018 at the WSA Glo­bal Con­gress in Vien­na.


Once a year, the World Sum­mit Awards reco­gnise inno­va­ti­ve and excep­tio­nal digi­tal solu­ti­ons with a trans­for­ma­ti­ve socie­tal impact. The initia­ti­ve is a glo­bal net­work of start­ups, men­tors, orga­ni­sa­ti­ons, sta­tes and jurors and is sup­por­ted by the UNIDO and UNESCO amongst others.
